Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago was a special guest of honour at the cultural and award night event as part of the activities marking the 20th anniversary of the Etsu Nupe, Alh. Yahaya Abubakar on the throne.

The event which was attended by many traditional rulers across the country was characterized by the display of Nupe’s rich cultural heritage and that of Ogun State.

Governor Umaru Bago noted that the array of traditional rulers at the event demonstrates who the Etsu Nupe is and what he stands for.

He called on youths to emulate the hard work, perseverance, and resilience of the celebrant to be successful in life.

Awards were presented to some sons and daughters of the soil who have distinguished themselves.
