Our Mandate
Formulate and Implement Security Policies
Develop comprehensive policies and strategies to enhance the security and safety of the State and its citizens, implementing proactive measures to prevent and mitigate security threats.
Coordinate and Collaborate with Security Agencies
Establish effective coordination mechanisms with other security agencies including the military, police, intelligence services, and civil defense for joint operations.
Infrastructure Development and Maintenance
Develop and maintain a robust and resilient infrastructure and communication system to facilitate surveillance, detection, and response to security challenges.
Border and Immigration Management
Manage and regulate the movement of people and goods across State borders and within the State, enforcing immigration laws and policies.
Public Education and Security Awareness
Educate and sensitize the public on security issues and best practices to enhance individual and collective security and foster a culture of security awareness.
Disaster Relief and Humanitarian Assistance
Provide swift and effective humanitarian assistance and relief to victims of disasters and emergencies by coordinating relief efforts for timely delivery of aid.
