Our Mandate
Develop Humanitarian Policies and Coordinate Interventions
Spearhead the development of comprehensive humanitarian policies and provide effective coordination of state and interstate interventions, prioritizing assistance for victims of conflicts, disasters, and emergencies.
Strategic Disaster Mitigation, Preparedness, and Response
Focus on proactive disaster mitigation and preparedness strategies to minimize the impact of potential hazards and lead the formulation of social inclusion and protection programs.
Collaborate with Relevant Stakeholders
Actively collaborate with other ministries, state and local governments, security agencies, civil society organizations, and development partners to enhance effectiveness.
Provision of Humanitarian Assistance and Relief
Provide humanitarian assistance and relief to affected populations such as refugees, internally displaced persons, migrants, persons with disabilities, women, children, and the elderly.
Monitoring and Evaluation
Conduct systematic monitoring and evaluation of the impact and effectiveness of humanitarian and disaster management policies and programs to enable continuous improvement.
