Ensure Quality Animal Health Care and Disease Control
Prioritize the health and well-being of livestock and fisheries by providing high-quality animal health care services and implementing disease control measures and vaccination programs.
Promote Adoption of Improved Breeds and Technologies
Encourage the adoption of improved breeds, feeds, technologies, and best practices in livestock and fisheries production through research and extension services.
Enhance Value Addition, Processing, and Marketing
Focus on value addition, processing, and effective marketing strategies for livestock and fishery products to stimulate economic growth and ensure sustainable returns for stakeholders.
Collaborate with Stakeholders for Innovation
Actively collaborate with research institutes, universities, development partners, private sector entities, civil society organizations, and farmers’ associations to promote innovation.
Formulate Policies for Sustainable Resource Management
Formulate and implement policies and regulations to support the sustainable management and utilization of livestock and fisheries resources including environmental conservation measures.
