Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State has disclosed the state executive arm’s readiness to support the full implementation of the financial autonomy of both Judiciary and Legislature.
The governor who was represented by his Deputy, Alh. Ahmed Mohammed Ketso made the disclosure while receiving members of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), and Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), who came to Government House, Minna to register their protest against the non full implementation of independence of both judiciary and legislature.
He commended the way and manner the Union members conducted themselves for the protest, adding that with the incessant security challenges in the country, hoodlums could have taken advantage of the protest, if it was rowdy.
He then assured the unionists that he would take their demands to the national level for onward discussion and implementation as soon as possible.
