FARMER GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO VISITS NIGER STATE PILGRIMS IN MECCA *** MAKES PERSONAL DONATION AS SALLAH PACKAGE

Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has made a personal donation of 200 Saudi Riyals to each pilgrim from the State as a special Sallah package.

The farmer Governor made the donation when he paid a visit to the pilgrims from the State in their tents at Muna commonly known as the city of Tents in Mecca, to interact with them, show love, concern and to inquire about their well-being in the Holy Land.

He stressed that the donation was his personal gesture, to ensure that the people effectively perform their religious obligation without hitch.

The farmer is Governor expressed gratitude to the pilgrims for their tenacity, and devotion to Allah while on pilgrimage.

He assured them of the State government’s commitment to their well-being during and after the pilgrimage.

The pilgrims who were overwhelmed with joy expressed their delights to the Governor for the gesture and prayed for the success of his administration.

Farmer Governor Umaru Bago was accompanied by his Deputy, Comrade Yakubu Garba, the Emir of Kagara and Niger State Amirul Hajj, Alh. Ahmed Garba Gunna II, Member representing Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency, Saidu Musa Abdullahi, Executive Secretary of the Pilgrims Welfare Board, Sheikh Muhammad Awwal Aliyu and the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hajiya Binta Mamman among others.
