Niger State Farmer Governor has flagged off the distribution of 500 bags of 5kg rice to the less privileged by the Coordinators Forum.

The flag-off was at the Government House Minna.

The Chairman of the Forum and Coordinator Speech, to the Farmer Governor, Dr. Umar Muhammad Dya-Dya said the gesture was in a bid to show appreciation to the Farmer Governor for allowing them to serve under his administration.

He said they decided to use the occasion of the Farmer Governor’s birthday to bring succour to the less privileged.

The Chairman of the Forum disclosed that the Forum has decided to make the gesture a continuous one by contributing every month to ameliorate the suffering of the less privileged in the society.
