FARMER GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO JOINS US-AFRICA LEADERS IN A ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION FOR SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE
Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago joined other US-African Business leaders in an Executive Roundtable meeting to discuss ways of deploying finance, innovations and tools for sustainable agricultural transformation in Africa.
The meeting was organized by the US-African Business Center of the United States Chamber of Commerce on the sidelines of the 2024 World Bank/IMF Spring Meeting.
Ways to provide Ecosystems that will support Agricultural development for smallholder farmers in Africa also formed part of the discussion during the meeting.
The Farmer Governor used the opportunity to project his policy thrusts to the world, to attract more partnerships to achieve the desired objective.
The meeting is expected to come up with recommendations that would be considered by the United States and African governments to ensure more partnerships and investments
opportunities.
