Niger State Governor Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago has met with the newly appointed Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), Adebowale Williams Zone 7 Headquarters Abuja and the Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command, CP Ayodeji Ogundele at the Niger State Lodge, Abuja.

The closed-door meeting was to establish a positive working relationship and discuss matters related to law enforcement priorities, security challenges and other issues pertinent to the state.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for the Governor and the AIG to familiarize themselves with the local enforcement landscape and consequently establish contact with the state government for future coordination and collaboration.
