Our Mandate
Formulate Policies for Rural Dwellers
Develop and execute strategic policies and programs aimed at enhancing the quality of life and livelihoods of rural dwellers, addressing unique challenges and promoting sustainable development.
Provide Basic Infrastructure and Social Amenities
Ensure the provision of essential infrastructure and social amenities including roads, electricity, water, health facilities, and educational resources to rural areas.
Promote Empowerment of Rural People
Advocate for the active participation and empowerment of rural residents, with special emphasis on women and youth, in decision-making and governance processes.
Facilitate Access to Financial Services and Technology
Facilitate the access of rural people to financial services and promote modern technology to bridge the digital divide and provide valuable knowledge and opportunities.
Coordinate and Collaborate with Stakeholders
Foster synergy and integration in rural development by coordinating efforts with state and local governments, civil society organizations, development partners, and research institutes.
