Niger State Government commences the annual budget screening processes of all its Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

The screening exercise being conducted by the Niger State Planning Commission is an integral part of budget preparation.

The screening has become essential to ensure that every proposed expenditure is justified, realistic, and in the best interest of the citizens of the state.

The exercise is also a strategic effort in line with fiscal responsibility and transparency to serve the public effectively and efficiently.

The State government urges all stakeholders to engage actively in the process and contribute meaningfully to having a budget that would facilitate the growth and development of the State.
