NIGER STATE GOVERNMENT CONCLUDES ARRANGEMENT FOR THE GROUNDBREAKING OF MINNA-BIDA ROAD PROJECT
Arrangements have been concluded for the groundbreaking of the Minna-Bida Road project co-financed by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) and the Niger State Government.
The event which has been slated to take place at Kakakpangi village on the 9th of this month is expected to attract eminent personalities both from within and outside the State.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Bologi Ibrahim, indicated that there would be similar event for the Bida-Lemu-Wushishi road supported by Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) as well as the Bida township road projects.
The farmer Governor will equally perform the groundbreaking of 5 km of road projects each in Mokwa, Enagi, Kutigi, Lemu, Katcha, Agaie, and Lapai between 10th and 11th of May 2024.
The projects when completed would enhance accessibility to rural areas, improve connectivity and reduce isolation as well as improve safety.
