Niger State Government has presented some state-of-the-art gadgets to the Nigeria Immigration Service, Niger State Command to enable it overcome some of its operational challenges.

The move through the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy is part of efforts of Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago to support not only State-owned Ministries, Departments, and Agencies but reach out to relevant federal establishments to ensure effective service delivery for the overall development and benefit of the State.

The donation is equally born out of the desire to support the organization to fast-track its production of e-passports, especially as intending pilgrims for the 2024 Hajj are bracing up.

The gadgets presented to the State Command by the commissioner for Communications and Digital Economy Suleiman Isah include passport and data-capturing equipment.
