NIGER STATE GOVERNMENT SECURES $25 MILLION PARTNERSHIP WITH PJS ON FOOD SECURITY
Niger State Governor, Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has secured a partnership worth $25 Million with PJS Group.
The agreement which is tagged “Expansion Strategy for 2024 in Niger State” will include Shea Butter extraction Factory, Soya and Rice Bran Oils Production among others.
The Group already has an existing investment in Niger State Agro Farms Ltd, a large-scale rice farm in Swashi village, Borgu Local Government Area covering 3,000 hectares with a $15 million investment.
It has equally invested in Kiara Rice Mills Limited in Kpatsuwa village, Mokwa Local Government Area of the State, producing 350,000 metric tons of rice annually.
The expectant results of all the recent partnerships with the Niger State government on Agriculture are job creation and increased agricultural activities with commensurate yield in line with the agricultural revolution of the Farmer Governor.
