NIGER STATE GOVERNMENT SIGNS PACT WITH BOSTON CONSULTING GROUP ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has secured a partnership agreement with Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
The agreement which was sealed at BCG’s Boston office, in the United States tends to secure financing across several key areas such as agriculture, education, healthcare and infrastructure.
Farmer Governor Umaru Bago with this agreement is making bold, his tireless efforts aimed at bringing investors to the State in various key areas of the economy.
The Managing Director at BCG and the global leader of the firm’s Societal Impact and Agricultural Group, Shalini Unnikrishnan hosted the event which he described as key to the economic and sustainable development of Niger State.
The agreement will also have BCG aiding the setting up and management of a transformational Development and Management Office including a Project Development Office to be providing technical assistance services directly to the Governor’s office.
Also present with the Farmer Governor were the Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties, Dr Bagana Murtala, Dr Jean Pillard, and the Chairman of Niger Foods Limited, Mr Sammy Adigun.
