Formulate and implement policies, programs, and projects that ensure the efficient management of land resources in Niger State aligned with the state government’s vision and national land use policy.

Administration and Regulation of Land Allocation

Administer and regulate the allocation, registration, valuation, and taxation of land and property within Niger State by upholding land use laws, standards, and regulations.

Accurate Data Management Through Modern Technology

Provide and maintain accurate, updated land data and information utilizing advanced technology such as GIS, satellite imagery, and aerial photography.

Facilitation of Infrastructure and Urban Planning

Facilitate the development of physical infrastructure and urban planning in Niger State by offering essential land surveying, mapping, demarcation, and certification services.

Promotion and Protection of Land Owners’ Rights

Promote and safeguard the rights of land owners, occupiers, and users in Niger State through dispute resolution, enforcement of land titles, and fair compensation practices.
