Formulate and Implement Policies for Enhanced Tertiary Education
Formulate and implement policies and strategies aimed at elevating the quality, relevance, and accessibility of tertiary education in Niger State.
Coordinate and Collaborate with Relevant Stakeholders
Actively coordinate and collaborate with other ministries, regulatory agencies, tertiary institutions, academic staff unions, students’ associations, civil society organizations, and development partners.
Promotion of ICT Integration in Tertiary Education
Promote the development and utilization of ICT in tertiary education to enhance the quality of teaching, learning, research, and administration in tertiary institutions.
Support for Capacity Building and Innovation
Provide support for the capacity building and innovation of tertiary institutions and staff by investing in professional development and innovative practices.
Alignment of Tertiary Education with State Development Goals
Ensure the alignment of tertiary education programs and curricula with State development goals and global standards to produce graduates who contribute meaningfully to societal progress.
Monitor and Evaluate Tertiary Education Policies and Programs
Conduct comprehensive monitoring and evaluation of the performance and impact of tertiary education policies and programs across all sectors and levels of governance.
