NIGERIA @ 64: GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO TASKS NIGERIANS TO SUSTAIN PRAYERS FOR PEACE AND PROSPERITY OF THE NATION

Farmer Governor of Niger State calls on Nigerians to deepen their prayers for the peace and prosperity of the nation.

The farmer Governor, through a message by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, to mark the 64th independence anniversary of Nigeria, said the nation is indeed going through a difficult time at the moment.

He acknowledges the prevailing harsh economy, orchestrated by several factors, and encourages the people to strengthen their faith in God as government at all levels are making frantic efforts to ameliorate their sufferings and stabilise the economy.

According to the farmer Governor “the challenges may be enormous, they are however surmountable, and there would be light at the end of the tunnel by the grace of God”.

He also enjoins Nigerians not to focus on the negatives alone, but to reflect on God’s mercies favours and be thankful to Him for keeping the nation as one entity despite the challenges.

The farmer Governor reminds every Nigerian that a united Nigeria is better and more beneficial for all.

While congratulating Nigerians on the 64th anniversary of nationhood, farmer Governor Umaru Bago also appeals to all to remain resolute, law-abiding, passionate and supportive to government at all levels in the task of nation-building which he said is a collective one.

He further reassured Nigerlites that his administration is determined and working tirelessly to ensure lives and livelihoods are secure and that the New Niger agenda is achieved to the benefit of all.
