Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has stressed that investment in Agriculture is key in changing the narrative and creating prosperity for the residents of Niger State
The farmer Governor stated this at a dinner to wrap up activities to celebrate the One-year anniversary of the Bago-led administration, held at the Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre, Minna.
He said the State has strength in Agriculture, hence his administration desires to ensure food sufficiency and socio-economic prosperity.
The farmer Governor said the State has attracted several locally and International Agricultural investments to the State and urged Nigerlites to key into agriculture initiative of his administration for a more improved life.
He used the medium to once again appreciate the synergy existing between the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Arms of Government, while assuring that his government will continue to strengthen it for the overall good of the State.
The event was characterised by musical performances from various artists from within and outside the State, cutting of the Anniversary cake and presentation of gifts to the farmer Governor.
Guests at the event were also treated to a sumptuous meal.
