NIGER STATE GOVERNMENT REELS OUT ACTIVITIES FOR MARKING FIRST ANNIVERSARY ***TO COMMISSION CNG & STATE-OF-ART VEHICLES

Niger State Government has rolled out activities to mark the first anniversary of Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago-led administration.

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hajiya Binta Mamman who spoke to newsmen in Minna the state capital said the one-year anniversary celebration would be done in low-key.

The Commissioner said the activities include flag-off of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) for young female students between the ages of 9 and 14.

Others are a novelty football match between the Executive and the Legislature, at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna on the 27th of May by 4 pm, and the commissioning of CNG buses as well as other state-of-the-art vehicles at the Trade Fair Complex on the 28th of May by 10 am.

She further stated that a a lecture would be held on the anniversary day, May 29, at the Justice Idris Legbo International Conference Centre by 11 am adding that the activities would end with a dinner same day by 7mp respectively.

While highlighting the achievements so far recorded by Bago-led administration which cut across all the sectors of the economy, the Commissioner called on all Nigerlites to join in the celebration of progress, commitment, and development under the present administration.

She assured that Niger State is in a new era of progress and prosperity.

Recall that Muslim and Christian prayers have been held at various places of worship commemorating the first anniversary of the present administration.
