“There will be lots of groundbreaking ceremonies including Minna/ Bida road, Kontagora and Suleja township roads in 2024”, he said.
Project supervision will be more intense to put Contractors on their toes and frequently carried out by the Farmer Governor in 2024, to ensure that the projects are executed according to contract agreements and specifications especially as Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Renewal are top in the budgetary allocation for the year 2024.
Considering the importance the Farmer Governor attaches to the people in the grass root, he has planned to embark on a tour of all the 25 local government areas of the state to have physical interactions with the stakeholders in local government areas, get their opinions about the administration as well as listen to their yearnings and aspirations to adopt most effective ways to serve them better.
“The year 2024 will also be promising for business owners and those who desire to start one, as the administration is poised to provide an enabling environment for new businesses to spring up and for existing ones to thrive”, he added.
Efforts would also be made to better the welfare of the State Civil Servants, and provide a conducive working environment for increased productivity, while the retirees will also breathe a sigh of relief as the administration implements the 2024 budget christened “budget for the future”.
The Farmer Governor stressed that the Agricultural Revolution of the present administration will equally make headway in the new year as the subsector is given the second-highest budgetary allocation for the year 2024 adding that words will be put into actions to boost national policy on food security.
He commended the residents for their support so far and solicited continued support and cooperation of all citizens for the actualization of his policies and programmes and many more in 2024.
The Farmer Governor urged Nigerlites to also be patient with the administration and persevere in 2024 as the “New Niger” agenda can only be a reality through collective efforts.
“While the government is not relenting in making life better for its citizenry, the residents are equally expected to play their part by being patriotic, selfless and disciplined”, he further stated.
